We took our 7 year old design critic with us. We wondered, do we loose the ability to look at new things when we grow old?
When we look at new things, we try to see things we recognise, so we can name what we see.
It’s easy to be a critic, its harder to keep an open mind.
‘Did he not have the machines to finish these leather edges, or is it the design era where we like raw edged leather?’

We saw the love for researching, developing and making beautiful things. We saw truly innovative thoughts.
So no, we do not loose the ability to see new things, we keep learning to see more!
